Q: What do you teach in the beginner classes?
A: All classes with be taught a combination of baton twirling and basic dance movements. Students will also learn a marching routine for parades as well as a special performance routine.
Q: What should my child wear to class?
A: All students will be required to wear close-toed shoes, hair up or out of face is preferred, and comfortable clothing. Please no sandals, dresses, or skirts on their baton class day.
Q: Will my child perform during her first year?
A: Yes! However, all performances are voluntary. Participation is encouraged, but not mandatory.
Q: Will they need a costume?
A: Yes, if you would like your child to participate in performances. All students are encouraged to participate in the end of the year Showcase whether or not they have a costume!
Q: Is there fundraising available for the costume package?
A: Yes! We organize an optional fundraiser to help cover the cost of costumes. Any additional funds raised will be credited to your account for monthly tuition.
Q: How much do performances cost?
A: Parades and community events are free of charge. There will be a small entrance fee for non-twirlers for the Holiday Showcase and our end of the year EPIC Showcase. Participation in Disney’s Twirl Mania and other competitions will require fees for the participant and accompanying adult. (These events are OPTIONAL). Please see our weekly newsletters for information.
Q: Will my child be required to wear makeup for performances?
A: We encourage light makeup for performances including blush, mascara, and lipstick. We will also apply glitter when they arrive for the performance.

A: Please contact EPIC Twirl directly with any questions or concerns. Note that the neither the school board nor the schools will not be able to assist you with any information regarding our group.
